At both events, people can share a memory, story or birthday wish and interact with Thelma. No presents please, just your presence at either event. Help us celebrate with this wonderful person!

NOTES for using ZOOM: On Saturday, Dec 11th, click the Zoom link on this page above to join us. We will be on the Zoom meeting about 15 minutes before we start so please enter early especially if you are concerned about connecting.

You will need to download the Zoom application to your computer or mobile phone prior to the event. (Zoom.us) You will have to sign up but it is free. Hopefully you will have a camera on your phone or computer but if not you can join without video.

If you want to tell a story or share a few words with Thelma during the event, add your name in the Zoom chat (use chat button at bottom of Zoom screen). We will ask you to share as we proceed down that list.

Instructions for Joining Zoom:

Once the Zoom application launches, it may ask you to type in your name and click ok.

Next it will display a button labeled "Join with Video". Please join with video so we can see each other unless you are on a computer without a camera.

If on the cell phone, it will ask if you want to use Wifi or Cellular Data which is the recommended choice. The Dial in choice can be slow.

At the bottom of the Zoom screen are the buttons to allow you to Mute, Chat, Leave and more. If on a cell phone, it will show dots on the bottom you can tap to see the options. On a computer, you will need to run your mouse over the bottom of the page to get them to show up.

If more than 10 people show up, we will use the chat box for the order to talk. You can just add you name into the chat and click the send button. There is a close button at the top of the Chat to make it no longer appear after you enter your name.

Feel free to join us a little before the event starts so you feel settled with the technology. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating Thelma's birthday!
